This Week's Notes

Hello 2nd Grade Families!

There are MANY things going on this week. Here are a few things to consider...

Please send a Plastic or Paper Bag to school with your child on Monday. I will begin to send things home that they will not need. As well as many writing projects, art projects, etc. They will not need backpacks on Thursday. I will have everything sent home before then.


Monday is Fun Day. The kids will have all afternoon to play games outside! It's a wonderfully exciting day and we are really looking forward to it!

Please remember to dress your child comfortably for Fun Day. Shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes! Students are not allowed to wear spaghetti straps or flip flops to Concord. Please also apply sunscreen before school. We will not be going outside  until after lunch. If you want to send suncreen with your cihld, they will be able to apply it before they go outside. Students will have a break station in the middle of the afternoon for ice cream and to cool off


Tuesday we will have our Year End class party. Mrs. Saitz has requested some donations, please contact her for more information about the party.
There will also be a Dunk Tank happening that day. And you're truly will be dunked! The kids will all get a shot at dunking me in the tank. There will also be a Sno-Cone stand set up.

Wednesday, we will have a class pizza party to celebrate our last full day together. No need to send a lunch.

Thursday is a Half Day. Dismissal will be at 11:50 AM.
